This tool simulates a positional sequence over the browser’s available output. It is useful for spatial perception and routing checks but does not certify a physical 5.1 or 7.1 installation.
This is a stereo spatial sequence. Browsers often do not expose discrete physical 5.1 or 7.1 outputs, so it cannot certify multichannel wiring.

Output tests do not upload audio. Microphone tools request permission only when started and explicitly state what stays in memory.
The sequence uses a stereo output to present front-left, center, front-right and virtual rear cues. It checks whether the current headphones, speakers and spatial processing preserve an ordered change in apparent position.
Keep the level moderate and change one thing at a time so the result remains useful.
Use headphones or sit in the normal listening position.
Start the sequence and follow each on-screen position label.
Confirm that positions move in the expected order.
Check operating-system spatial settings if the path collapses or reverses.

The generated signal stays controlled; the physical device, room and system path can still change what reaches you.
Most browsers expose a stereo destination even when the operating system or receiver supports more channels.
Windows Sonic, Dolby, vendor effects and game engines can each apply different virtualization.
Virtual rear cues depend on ear and head geometry, so the same processing does not localize equally for everyone.
Reversed earcups or mono summing can make an otherwise valid sequence misleading.
It is a browser spatial sequence, not a certification that every physical 5.1 channel is receiving a discrete stream.
Compare with it on and off. The useful setting depends on the content and device.
